Optical Design

With any LED design it is crucial not to waste any light and to manage the heat generated from the Luxeon LEDs to maximize the overall system efficiency, thereby minimizing the number of LEDs needed. To accomplish this, Opto Technology utilizes optical modeling software to quickly establish if we can meet a customer’s performance and cost requirements. This information allows our customers the ability to determine if the timing is right for them to move forward with LED technology.
