Opto Technology has developed a line of interrupters and reflective sensors that are ideal for small embedded OEM applications. The interrupters and reflective sensors can be used for motion sensing, paper sorting and sensing on printers and check sorting equipment.

The 4 varieties of photo interrupters incorporate infrared red LEDs, a photo I.C. in a molded plastic housing. Options include different slot widths and packaging configurations.

The 2 varieties of reflective sensors incorporate infrared or visible LEDs and a silicone phototransistor or photodarlington in polycarbonate housing.

Complete custom versions are also available to fit your specific sensing application.
