Community Relations
We are proud of our involvement in the community. Our goal is to help local groups with our time and donations to positively impact their lives every day.
Each
quarter, Opto offers different volunteer opportunities to our
employees. Those who participate are paid the regular hourly
rate/salary for their time. Some volunteer service opportunities
include: Ronald McDonald House meal preparation, Hurricane
Katrina Relief Effort, American Cancer Society Daffodil Days,
Little City Foundation Used Book Sale, and Bear Necessities
Pediatric Cancer Foundation Golf Outing.
Opto Technology and its employees have made considerable monetary donations to Bright Hope International and Walter Payton Cancer Fund. We also periodically hold charity drives such as Toys for Tots, the Chicago Food Depository, Wheeling Township, and PADS Homeless Shelters.
