Electronic Safe Arm and Fire ModulesExcelitas has partnered with the leading defense prime contractors to design, qualify, and manufacture in-line Electronic Safe and Arm Devices (ESADs), Electronic Safe, Arm and Fire Modules (ESAFs), Ignition Safety Devices (ISDs), and similar modules for numerous weapons systems.

We have provided over 60,000 qualified systems to the US Air Force, Army, and Navy as well as to several allied nations. Our dedicated staff of research and design experts use the latest advances in technology to design smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective ESAFs to meet the unique mission requirements of the newer and more sophisticated weapons systems. This includes a line of components and subsystems that have been qualified for hard target penetration environments as well as for the next generation of smaller class munitions. We will work with you to design a custom system to meet your specific requirements.
