 The Endura Bright™ MR-16 basic
version is designed for the OEM track lighting fixture
manufacturer looking to re-design their existing track lighting
system. The MR-16 LED is mechanically a direct drop in
replacement for their existing fixtures but the existing power
supply needs to be replaced with a constant current power supply. Advance
Transformer, a Philips company, is already manufacturing these
LED drivers that will drop right into many of the existing power
supply housings used in track lighting.
Opto Technology offers an Advance Lighting power supply kit which
has a 120V wall plug (6’ foot cord) and an MR-16 bi-pin
receptacle to evaluate the basic version Endura Bright™ MR-16 LED.
